Here at Mattress Online, we are incredibly proud of the awards we have achieved over the years. The recognition we have gained from the following awarding bodies is a testament to the effort and hard work put in by everyone at Mattress Online.

Below we’ve highlighted our achievements over the years by including a selection of the most prestigious awards we’ve won, as well as a number of rankings in which we’ve been included.
Fast Growth 50 - North England 2023
In November 2023, Mattress Online was proud to be ranked 48th on the inaugural Fastest Growth 50 list.
This list draws in businesses from across Yorkshire, Lancashire, Greater Manchester and the North East regions, ranking them based on their growth over the last 12 months.

Best Online Retailer 2023 - Interiors Monthly
For the second consecutive year, Mattress Online was voted by our suppliers and manufacturers in the bed and furniture industry as the best online retailer. Interiors Monthly presented our CEO, Steve Adams with the award in September of 2023.
The award from Interior Monthly commends us on our dedication to the service we provide.
Growth Index 2023
The summer of 2023 was a successful time for Mattress Online - Growth Index placed us 79th in the Top 100 fastest-growing UK businesses over the last two years. Of the Top 25 fastest-growing UK retailers, we placed 20th.
Growth Index is an independent body that ranks the growth of businesses across the UK.

We are delighted to make our debut on the 2023 Growth Index. We are, at heart, a tech company that happens to be selling beds and mattresses. We manage all our website, stock control and dispatch systems in-house. It's humbling to know that all this effort has been recognised in this growth list.

Northern Tech Awards 2023
In April 2023, Mattress Online was ranked in two business growth lists. We placed 69th in the final Top 100 list, and 15th in the Top 15 Larger Companies category in the Northern Tech Awards.
Elite Business Top 100 Innovation of the Year Award
March of 2023 saw Mattress Online awarded the Elite Business Top 100 Innovation of the Year award. We also ranked 7th in the Elite Business 100 list.
The Elite Business Awards celebrate small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) from across the UK on their growth and successes.
Ward Hadaway Yorkshire Fastest 50
March of 2023 was a busy award period for us here at Mattress Online. Ward Hadaway and the Yorkshire Post partnered to rank Mattress Online as the second Fastest Growing Large Business and 10th overall in the Fastest 50 Businesses.
Ward Hadaway and the Yorkshire Post compiled a list of 50 independent businesses in Yorkshire that have increased turnover in the last three financial years from the awarding date.
We were ranked highly for our unique and ambitious ‘clicks and mortar’ expansion plan and our improved logistic processes.
Yorkshire Post Business Excellence Awards - Medium-sized Business of the Year
In November of 2022, we were crowned Medium-sized Business of the Year by Yorkshire Post. This was, in part, due to the opening of more physical stores across the country.
In 2022, we acquired the Skipton Bed and Sofa Centre in Skipton and we also opened our first Mattress Online-branded store in Sheffield.
Business Leader Scale-Up Awards - E-Commerce Award
We are incredibly honoured to have won the 2022 Business Scale-Up E-Commerce Award in November of that year.
The Scale Up awards shine a light on upcoming businesses and entrepreneurs across the whole of the UK who are committed to growing and scaling up their operations.

Best Online Retailer - Interiors Monthly
In July of 2022, Mattress Online was awarded Best Online Retailer by Interiors Monthly.
We are so grateful that a selection of our suppliers and manufacturers in the mattress and beds industry came forward to nominate Mattress Online for this award.

FEBE 100 Growth List
In June of 2022, we were delighted that Mattress Online ranked 68th in the annual For Entrepreneurs, By Entrepreneurs Growth List (FEBE).
The FEBE ranks 100 of the UK’s best and fastest-growing privately owned businesses in the UK. The organisation is committed to sharing the unique and valuable work that these entrepreneurs have put into their respective businesses.

Northern Tech Awards 2022
The Northern Tech Awards of June 2022 was one of the first tech award ceremonies that Mattress Online attended. Mattress Online was a finalist and shortlisted for two awards. We were placed 2nd in the Top 15 Larger Companies and 19th in the Top 100 Companies.
To have our technical E-Commerce efforts recognised by GP Bullhound is an incredible achievement for the whole Mattress Online team.
Sustainability Award - Modern Retail
We were recognised in early 2022 for our sustainability initiatives when Modern Retail’s panel judged us to have shown commitment at every level of our business practices, including our non-profit mattress recycling service.

Large Business of the Year - Sheffield Business Awards
As we celebrated our 18th anniversary, Mattress Online won the 2021 Sheffield Large Business of the Year Award.
In December of 2021, we were recognised in our home of South Yorkshire by the Sheffield Business Awards for achieving consistent growth backed by a strong financial performance. During this awarding period, the Mattress Online team grew from 32 to 70 people.
We’re incredibly proud of the work we have achieved, but that doesn’t mean we’re resting on our laurels! There will be more awards to come in the future that recognise the hard work and dedication of the Mattress Online team.
